Job Title: Consultant SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS)Location: Kolkata, Bengaluru, Noida, Gurugram, HyderabadExperience: 46 yearsJob Description:We are looking for a Consultant with 4 to 6 years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in data integration, ETL processes, and data migration using BODS, with a strong understanding of SAP systems and database management.Key Responsibilities:BODS Development: Design, develop, and optimize BODS jobs for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).Data Integration: Work with various SAP and non-SAP data sources, including IDOCs, BAPIs, and web services, to facilitate seamless data integration.Data Migration: Participate in data migration projects, ensuring data quality and consistency while moving data between systems.SQL & Performance Tuning: Write and optimize SQL queries for data transformation and validation.Technical Documentation: Prepare design documents, technical specifications, and test cases for developed solutions.Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve BODS job failures, performance issues, and data inconsistencies.Collaboration: Work closely with functional teams, business analysts, and project managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Scheduling & Monitoring: Configure and manage BODS job scheduling and monitoring through the Management Console.Qualifications:Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Professional Experience: 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP BODS development and implementation.Technical Skills:Experience in designing and optimizing BODS ETL jobs.Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts.Knowledge of SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and other SAP modules as data sources.Hands-on experience with SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.Exposure to real-time data integration (IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs).Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication and documentation abilities.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with SAP BW, SAP HANA, or other data integration tools.SAP BODS certification is a plus.Familiarity with Agile project methodologies.This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge data integration projects and grow within a collaborative and dynamic environment.
